Meanwhile, Mulpani International Ground will also witness 17 matches, adding to the cricketing fervor in the capital city.
Siddhartha Stadium in Bhairahawa, the third venue, will stage 11 matches, making it a focal point for the early stages of the tournament. Bhairahawa is set to host matches involving Lumbini, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. These teams will clash with each other between January 13 and 18, creating an intense competition in the initial phase.
Following a brief two-day break at the Bhairahawa Ground, the three Departmental teams will join the fray, competing against each other and Lumbini (excluding Police) in a series of matches. From January 26 onwards, all matches will shift to Kathmandu, where Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces will exclusively play their fixtures.
Out of the 22 days earmarked for the tournament, February 2 will be the sole day without any matches scheduled. However, fans can expect a cricketing feast on 8 days, with three matches taking place, while an additional 9 days will feature double-headers. The remaining 3 days leading up to the Final will host a single match each, building up the excitement for the grand culmination of the Prime Minister Cup 2024.
