The Mulpani pitch is renowned for its slow nature, making it conducive to spin bowling, with the likelihood of the ball turning. But CAN have claimed to make the pitch batting friendly as ground staffs have continuously worked on the ground and pitch for last six months.
In a noteworthy development, star leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane will be absent from the series due to personal reasons related to his ongoing legal matter. On the positive side, Lalit Rajbanshi’s return to the squad after recovering from injury bolsters Nepal’s ranks.
