In a significant setback for Nepal’s cricket team, left-arm spinner Lalit Rajbanshi has sustained a fracture to his Closed Right Clavicle, making him absent from participation in the upcoming Asian Games in China, just a week away. This unfortunate incident transpired during a warm-up match as Lalit was fielding at the Chobhar end of the TU Ground.
Swiftly after the injury occurred, Lalit was transported to the National Hospital in Kalanki for immediate medical attention. As a result, he was subsequently referred to B&B Hospital, where medical experts advised that he undergo surgery to rectify the issue.
The surgery, which took place today, will require Lalit to remain hospitalized for an extended period as part of his recovery regimen.
